Adactin unveils the AFIVE AI platform aimed at optimizing business productivity
Adactin launches AFIVE, an AI platform unifying enterprise data for secure research and productivity.
Adactin, a technology services company based in Sydney, has recently launched AFIVE, an AI-driven knowledge management platform. Designed to centralize information scattered across various professional repositories, this solution promises to enhance productivity by simplifying the search for internal information.
A Platform for Organizations
AFIVE has been developed to address the challenges faced by organizations, particularly those with data dispersed across departments and different storage systems. Instead of relying on tedious manual searches, the platform allows users to formulate queries in natural language. This facilitates quick access to contextual information from approved internal sources.
The system, based on Microsoft Azure services, including Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Foundry, utilizes a retrieval-augmented generation model with LangChain. It connects to repositories such as SharePoint, Google Drive, Azure Blob Storage, and Dropbox, with results presented through an intuitive conversational interface.
Security and Control at the Core of the System
In regulated sectors where sensitive data circulates, security and access control are paramount. AFIVE integrates key features such as network isolation, encrypted credential management, and role-based access controls via Microsoft Entra ID.
Adactin emphasizes that the platform has been designed around principles of governance, security, and responsible AI. It aims to ensure that only authorized audiences can access the data while adhering to existing compliance structures.
A Productivity-Focused Approach
One of AFIVE's main objectives is to reduce the time employees spend searching for documents across multiple systems. By consolidating fragmented information into a single environment, the platform aims to eliminate duplicates and maintain data consistency within teams.
Additionally, AFIVE offers integrations with Power BI and Power Automate, thereby connecting information searches to automated reports and workflows. This positions it as a solution that combines document discovery and process automation.
According to Srinivas Gutta, Director of Technical Practices at Adactin: "By automating repetitive information retrieval tasks and enabling real-time summaries, AFIVE redirects employee effort from administrative searches to higher-value strategic work."
Gutta also shared a broader vision of how the platform transforms business operations: "AFIVE supports Adactin's goal of enhancing our clients' operational efficiency through intelligent technology. By transforming fragmented business knowledge into an accessible system, the platform enables faster decision-making, improved collaboration, and more effective use of organizational resources. At the same time, by automating repetitive knowledge retrieval tasks, the platform supports employees in their work rather than replacing them, allowing teams to focus on higher-value strategic activities."
An Ambitious Business Strategy
Founded in 2011, Adactin has over 300 employees and operates across both public and private sectors in the Asia-Pacific region. Its areas of expertise include cloud, artificial intelligence, software engineering, and quality assurance, primarily using Microsoft and AWS technologies. The company is also featured in growth rankings such as the Financial Times High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific and the Deloitte Technology Fast 50.
With the launch of AFIVE, Adactin adds a proprietary software product to its service portfolio. This reflects a trend among technology consulting firms seeking to transform their internal tools into commercial platforms. However, the real challenge for clients lies in the ability of these systems to provide reliable answers from fragmented internal data while adhering to strict security and compliance requirements.
