Two overviews to manage your catalog and campaigns
Feedcast5 min
The catalog and advertising each have their overview: where you stand, and what to do now, in a single action list. The dashboard gains a Campaigns block, and the Feedscore becomes much more readable.
In brief
- Catalog › Overview: see where your catalog stands (quality of listings, distribution across your channels) and what to do now, in a single list.
- Feedscore, version 2: a score out of 100 per listing, in seven blocks, and for each correction, the points it brings. Your score may decrease on the first calculation: the rules are more demanding.
- Advertising › Overview: see what your campaigns are bringing in, where your budget is going, and which actions to prioritize.
- Find your campaigns on the dashboard, and filter your products by recommendation, both for the catalog and advertising.
- Improve your product listings with AI and find your saved modifications upon closing.
- Discover Feedcast Marketplace, a dedicated Brand page, and several improvements to the catalog and dashboard.
Catalog: a new overview to know where you stand
The Catalog › Overview page is completely redesigned. It reads in the order of your questions: where is my catalog, what should I do now, and why.
- Header: the status of your feed (up to date or to be synchronized) and the number of products, with the date of the last import and its source on hover. A click leads to feed management.
- Where your catalog stands: your Feedscore, accompanied by its calculation rule and the level of your listings (at risk, to improve, good, excellent). Just below, the distribution: how many of your channels have your products online, with a mini-bar per channel showing products online, pending, in alert, or blocked.
- To do: a single list for distribution and Feedscore. What blocks distribution first, then what raises the Feedscore the most, followed by optional items. The first action is highlighted, and each action indicates its impact in products or points.
- Detail, collapsed by default: distribution channel by channel, with all product errors, and the Feedscore axis by axis, with points to gain.
AI in one action
In the catalog overview, "Attributes completed by AI": a single action completes color, size, material, age range, and gender. As long as the AI is processing your listings, its button indicates "AI in progress", and products already in the generation process are not restarted.
Product list: filter by recommendation
The product list gains a "Recommendation" filter: it displays listings affected by a Feedscore advice (missing GTIN, image too small...), grouped into "Blocks distribution", "Feedscore", and "Optional", with their count. The links from the catalog overview lead directly there.
Feedscore: the version 2 scale, explained point by point
The Feedscore changes its calculation rule. Until now, each listing started from a fixed base of 70 points: the score remained high even when a listing had much to correct. With the version 2 scale, each listing is scored out of 100, with no fixed base, according to the rules of Google Merchant Center, Meta, and Microsoft.
Your Feedscore may therefore decrease on the first calculation, even if your listings have not changed: it is the rule that is more demanding. In exchange, each lost point is explained, and each correction indicates what it brings.
The score of a listing: 100 points in seven blocks
| Block | Points | What counts |
|---|---|---|
| Main image | 25 | 12 points for 500 px on the short side, +10 for high definition (1,500 px), +3 for square or portrait 4:5 format |
| Attributes | 20 | Color, size, material, pattern, age range, gender: only those that make sense for the product category |
| Identifiers | 15 | Brand (5) and valid GTIN (10). Without GTIN, a manufacturer reference (MPN) with the brand earns 6 points out of 10 |
| Title | 15 | From 30 to 150 characters, without excessive capitalization or promotional text, including the brand. +3 for an enriched title: 70 characters or more, with a key attribute of the product |
| Additional images | 10 | 4 for one image, 7 for two, 10 from three onwards |
| Description | 10 | 10 points from 500 to 5,000 characters, less below |
| Category | 5 | 5 for a related and precise Google category, 2 if it is too general |
Link your categories: attributes depend on them
The Google category determines which attributes count: size matters for a t-shirt, not for a bike pump. Attributes are therefore evaluated only once the category is linked by you, in "My categories" or on the product listing. A category deduced by Feedcast or proposed by AI must first be validated.
As long as it is not validated, the listing loses the 20 points for attributes and the 5 points for category. This is often the most profitable lever: the catalog overview indicates how many products are waiting for a link.
Once the category is linked, an attribute that the category requires (color, gender, age range, and size for clothing) counts double, and its absence is a correction advice. Attributes that are simply useful are optional supplements. A category without a relevant attribute, such as food, gives the 20 points as soon as it is linked.
Errors that block distribution
A listing that a platform would reject is capped at 39, at the "at risk" level, as long as the error is not corrected:
- missing or insecure (https) link or image;
- main image less than 500 px on the short side;
- invalid GTIN;
- description less than 30 characters.
A missing GTIN no longer blocks: it costs points, without capping the listing.
Advice and optional supplements
Each lost point is either a piece of advice, a defect to correct, or an optional supplement: additional image, high definition image or in the right format, enriched title, attribute that your category does not require. The absence of a supplement is never a defect, but each addition raises the score. The score of the listing, the advice, and the supplements always total 100.
The advice can trigger a targeted AI action: the AI rewrites titles and descriptions at once, or completes the attributes.
From listing scores to Feedscore
The Feedscore is the average of your listing scores, displayed in a single number, with its calculation rule under the gauge:
- as long as your catalog is not distributed, each product counts equally;
- once your products have impressions, the most viewed count more: 80% of the score follows each product's share in your impressions over the last 30 days, 20% is distributed among all your products. A product that accounts for 40% of your impressions counts for about a third of the score.
The score therefore also evolves with your distribution, even without modifying your listings. The levels: less than 40, "at risk"; from 40 to 69, "to improve"; 70 and above, "good"; 90 and above, "excellent".
What each correction brings
- In the overview, the Feedscore breaks down axis by axis (titles, description, images, identifiers and links, attributes, categories, optional supplements), with the points to gain on each. The score and these points total 100.
- On the product listing: "This product accounts for 4.2% of your Feedscore", and each piece of advice indicates what it brings to the product and the Feedscore.
- Upon saving: "Product score: 62 → 85", with the estimated effect on the Feedscore.
- The Feedscore is recalculated 10 minutes after your first modification, allowing you to correct several listings in a row. The "Update now" button recalculates it immediately.
Advertising: a new overview to manage your campaigns
The Advertising › Overview page is new. It answers three questions: what your campaigns are bringing in, where your budget is going, and what to do now.
- At the top, your generated sales, your spending, and your ROAS for the chosen period, with its evolution compared to the previous period.
- The distribution of your spending by campaign: what brings in more than it costs, what brings in less, and what generates no sales.
- A "To do" list ranked by the amount at stake: what blocks distribution, then what costs without bringing in, then what works and can go further (a profitable campaign limited by its budget, for example), then what can be improved. Each action leads directly to the concerned campaign or products.
- Your most expensive campaigns, on the same scale, with their status: no sales, at a loss, budget saturated, no distribution, or in learning.
- Direct access to detailed reporting and pricing strategy, for the same period.
To avoid premature judgment, the "To do" list relies on the last 28 days, excluding the last 3, the time for sales to be attributed. A campaign is only flagged after spending enough to make at least 3 sales at your usual pace, and a campaign of less than 14 days, still in learning, is not judged. As long as your account has fewer than 10 sales during this period, the page indicates that it is too early to judge.
Your campaigns on the dashboard
A Campaigns block joins the dashboard, below the Feedscore and channels. It displays your active campaigns, the distribution of your spending, and the first action to take, with a link to the Advertising overview.
Advertising › Products: filter by recommendation
A "Recommendation" filter displays products affected by an action from the overview: products that spend without selling, that sell at a loss, highly viewed but rarely clicked, or more expensive than the market. You then select them to act in bulk: labels, improvement by AI, or modification of attributes. These recommendations pertain to Google Shopping.
And also
Product listing: visible AI assistance and automatic saving
The improvement action by AI remains visible under the description as long as no AI version exists. The button offers a preview before launching the improvement. Under each field, you also see if the displayed text is Original, AI, or Customized.
- The "Save" button is now located in the header of the listing.
- When closing the listing with the cross, the Escape key, or a click outside, your modifications are saved automatically.
- If the saving fails, the listing remains open so you can resume your modifications.
- If the Google category is not linked, a warning appears on the Categories line, with a link to "Link in My categories". A reminder is also visible in Attributes.
- The button "Complete with AI" is more visible and the description area is taller.
My categories: manage your categories from the catalog
The "My categories" list displays all categories of your account. You can modify them directly in the list, without the saving of a listing freezing the inherited Google category.
If a category is too general, the "Refine" option offers AI assistance to specify it.
Brand listing: access it from the dashboard
Your brand listing has a dedicated page, accessible from the dashboard menu. The brand direction used for generated images is now managed by the platform based on your most recent brand listing.
Feedcast Marketplace: a new channel in the dashboard
Feedcast Marketplace appears in the Channels column. Once the channel is activated, your complete or in-progress brand listing feeds your online Feedcast Shopping page. Advertising channels — Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft, and TikTok — are presented separately from marketplaces.
Dashboard: track the Feedscore during analysis
As long as your products do not yet have a score, the dashboard displays a status "in analysis": the gauge pulses without a number and the sections show empty bars. This provides you with a visual status rather than a frozen screen.
A context line indicates the number of scored products. Once calculated, the score updates in the background every 30 seconds, for a maximum duration of 15 minutes, without reloading the page. The layout spacing has also been revised for easier reading.
Catalog: see your modifications without reloading the page
After saving a product listing, the corresponding line updates immediately with the new score and modified fields. You can view the result in the list without refreshing the page.
Catalog: navigation without dead space at the bottom of the list
Using "Add optional supplements" no longer leaves an impossible-to-scroll empty area under the catalog list. The fix eliminates an area that could reach 310 px on some accounts.
Dashboard: identify a blocked advertising account
A banner appears when your advertising account is blocked. It allows you to clearly identify this status from the dashboard.
Campaign list: error channels are flagged
When campaigns from a channel cannot be read, a one-line bar indicates this above the list (for example: "Meta Ads and Microsoft campaigns unavailable"), with a link to reconnect the channel and the details of the error. You can hide it until the next day.
