Your prices against the competition, inside your product reports
Google Merchant Center competitive data lands in Feedcast: benchmark prices, market distribution, and the products where you're losing ground.
Google knows what your competitors charge for the same products you sell. That data lives in Merchant Center; it now flows straight into your Feedcast product reports.
The problem: price decides, and you steer it blind
On Google Shopping, price is one of the first comparison criteria — often ahead of brand. A product priced 15% above market burns ad budget generating clicks that won't convert. Conversely, a product far below market leaves margin on the table without gaining much volume.
The trouble is you usually don't know which side you're on. Not unless you monitor competitors product by product, by hand, which nobody sustains over time.
What's new
Benchmark price. For each product, the price the market charges next to yours. The gap is displayed, not something you calculate.
Price distribution. Where you sit within the market range, rather than a comparison against an average that flattens the extremes.
The products where you're losing ground. The costliest gaps surface first, with the products involved — the ones where an adjustment actually changes something.
Adjustment suggestions. Repositioning options, for you to validate. Your margin constraints, supplier agreements and positioning aren't in our data: the decision stays yours.
Why it matters
Price is the only lever that acts on your click-through rate, your conversion rate and your margin at the same time. It's also the one that gets adjusted least often, because the information is missing at the moment of the decision. Putting it on the same screen as your product performance is what turns a hunch into a trade-off.
